Play Rugby USA is a Sports-Based Youth Development organization committed to helping young people find success both on and off the rugby field. Our mission is to use the unique power of rugby to empower and inspire young people, primarily from underserved communities, to Go Forward and realize their true potential.

We are seeking an experienced Program Director who will be responsible for the overall performance of a portfolio of youth development programs. The Program Director will ultimately be responsible for managing the logistics of the programs, liaising with parents and other program stakeholders, and communicating the status of each program with the internal team. The NYC Program Director will play an integral role in setting strategy and ensuring that the Play Rugby USA curriculum is delivered consistently and of the highest quality across all of his/her programs.
We are looking for someone with a passion for youth development that possesses exceptional program, process and project management skills. The ideal candidate will have experience managing and leading individual people and teams toward common and complementary goals. You should be comfortable holding yourself and others accountable to high standards with a demonstrated ability to organize and execute on multiple, competing priorities.
This position is based out of Play Rugby USA’s NYC office, but requires frequent travel to program sites throughout all five boroughs.

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university. Plus, 2-3 years of demonstrated experience managing a program and/or staff. Ability to travel throughout Manhattan, the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens and Staten Island to visit programs and work flexible hours, including but not limited to nights and weekends.
