Play Rugby USA is pleased to offer two opportunities to meet the stars of USA Rugby and the Rio Olympic Games!
History was made when Rugby Sevens made it’s come back to the Olympic Arena in Rio after a 92 year hiatus. And while Team USA didn’t come away with a medal, the Women’s side finishing in 5th, the Men’s side in 9th, we are proud of their efforts and the incredible opportunities this opens up for Rugby in the USA. We can expect to see more children starting to play at an earlier age, and it’s our hope that they get involved in a values based rugby program like ours, with coaches that are knowledgeable not only about sporting tactics but in positive coaching as well, focusing on the process, not the results, efforts over wins and losses, and fun rather than X’s & O’s.
